Negro Crown operates within the regulations governing waste tyre management and carries out mechanical processing of waste under code 16 01 03. The process does not involve pyrolysis, incineration or chemical treatment.
Processing is purely mechanical — cutting and shredding tyres and separating rubber, steel wire and textile. This keeps the impact on air, soil and water to a minimum, with no thermal or chemical processes.
